After leaving a very abusive relationship at the age of 21 I began a very tumultuous ride through life which ultimately ended up with me severely depressed and attempting to completely isolate myself from everyone around me. After being put on anti depressants and added to the waiting list for CBT I thought things were going to change, but instead they got worse. I hit rock bottom and could not see the way up.
That is when I found hiking.
I began going on adventures and quickly saw my mental health rapidly improve. I am now at a place where I want to use my experiences to help other people.
With a 2:1 in Event Management and a huge interest in Geography, I want to use my knowledge and skills to create a safe environment which will help empower people to become the best version of themselves. Jen is now a fully qualified Flat Water SUP Instructor through the ISA.
I am Bruin, I am a minature labradoodle and I am just over a year old!
I love going hikes with my mum and it is so much fun when I get to come along on the Excelsior Adventures Mini Bus! I love to lead the pack on the walks and make sure we are always going the right way!
I also love paddleboarding and had fun out on Loch Lomond on my mums board!
